Il programma indaga la molteplicità dei rapporti tra corpi. Corpi singolari e plurali, come strumento e interprete; anime intrecciate che scoprono sé stesse nel contatto. Il gesto strumentale si fa vivo movimento, crudo desiderio, necessità, spasmo e contrazione, inedita forma del toccarsi. L’intima rilettura di Steen-Andersen del capriccio bachiano sulla lontananza del fratello dilettissimo incornicia Sgorgo Y, indagine sui limiti ritmici del corpo e le loro alterazioni allo stabilire un profondo contatto organico con la fonte elettrificata. Gesti ciclici e puntuali articolano lo spazio sospeso di  Point/Wave; l’interazione tra dimensione acustica ed elettroacustica ne scandisce il movimento. Attraverso una regia del suono dedicata e curata da Giuseppe Silvi, anche il suono elettroacustico si fa corpo fisico, stereós, forma spaziale e tangibile, diventando con-vivente all’interprete in uno spazio acustico comune.

SIMON STEEN-ANDERSEN (Denmark, 1976)
Classical guitar and Piano before joining rock groups synthesised sounds with his personal computer. He explores the territories of instrumental music, electronics, video, stage direction, performance and sound installation. He composes as much for solo instrument as for orchestra. He opens up a ‘micro-world’, requiring a pianissimo play on acoustic instruments amplified to an extreme, often in combination with samplers, videos, everyday objects or ad hoc constructions. Working closely with his performers, he has developed a special approach to performance, a concept of visual music as well as of choreographies for instruments and musicians. He teaches Composition at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, Denmark.

PIERLUIGI BILLONE (Italy, 1960)
Pierluigi Billone studied Composition with S. Sciarrino and H. Lachenmann. His music received international awards and has been performed by relevant interpreters in festivals and regularly broadcasted from the most important radios (BBC, WDR, SDR, BRD, NDR, ORF, DRS, RCE, RF, NR) in and beyond Europe. Guest professor for Composition from 2006 to 2008 at the Music University Graz, in 2009 at the Music University of Frankfurt, from 2010 until 2012 at the Music University Graz, and in 2017 at the ESMUC in Barcelona and he is regularly invited as teacher and lecturer in composition courses. His music appear on the Kairos, Stradivarius, Col-legno, Durian, EMSA, NEOS and Ein_Klang labels.

CATHERINE LAMB (Olympia, WA. U.S., 1982)
Active composer exploring the interaction of tone, summations of shapes and shadows, phenomenological expansions, the architecture of the liminal, and the long introduction form. She began her musical life early, later abandoning the Conservatory in 2003 to study Hindustani music in Pune, India. She received her BFA in 2006 under J. Tenney and M. Pisaro at CalArts in Los Angeles, where she first developed her research into the interaction of tone and continued to compose, teach, and collaborate with musicians. She resides in Berlin where she contributes to many new-music initiatives including the experimental music label Sacred Realism and the Harmonic Space Orchestra.

FRANCESCO PALMIERI
Francesco Palmieri (1996) è un chitarrista classico ed elettrico residente a Basilea. La dedizione alla musica contemporanea lo porta ad esibirsi nei principali festival (e.g. Darmstädter Ferienkurse, Acht Brücken, Ruhrtriennale), collaborando con i maggiori ensemble (e.g. Ensemble Musikfabrik, Klangforum Wien, Collegium Novum Zurich) e compositori (e.g. Salvatore Sciarrino, Beat Furrer, Simon Steen-Andersen). Primo premio Concorso Valentino Bucchi 2019 e Concours Nicati 2023, ha registrato per Brillant Classics, Kairos e Contrastes Records. È membro del collettivo musicale Opificio Sonoro.

GIUSEPPE SILVI
È professore di Elettroacustica. L’attività di ricerca musicale lo conduce allo sviluppo di sistemi elettroacustici di invenzione, tra cui un sistema di ascolto omnidirezionale mediante diffusione tetraedrica denominato S.T.ONE e un timpano aumentato a interfaccia elettromagnetica denominato TEMPO. Fondatore dello spazio LEAP (Laboratorio ElettroAcustico Permanente, Roma) e del progetto SEAM (Sustained ElectroAcoustic Music) cura interpretazioni del repertorio elettroacustico con un’attenzione particolare alla scuola romana.
