ERMAN-GERMÁN AKGÜL (TR)
Flurry Flare (2024)
Flurry Flare for solo electronics and video, expresses a dim and abstract atmosphere. The piece starts with a repetitive texture and each time it repeats. The overall sonority consists of white noises, glitchy sounds and images sustained with eternal feelings. The listener gets used to various patterns of sounds and imagery, which eventually break, and the piece finally goes in to a few seconds of absolute silence and absence of image. The second half of the piece starts with another explosion. The very ending of the piece resolves to a softer but a highly intense, “insect” like sound world, accompanied by continuously glimpsing visual imagery that gradually fades away.

CREA K//LAB (IT)
Chamber of Visions (2023)
The work is a grand artistic display designed to celebrate the restoration and exhibition of Filippo Balbi's magnificent work "Testa Anatomica". Housed in the charming refectory of the historic Certosa di Trisulti, the project stands out for its deep immersion achieved through an audiovisual system consisting of three screens and a 5.1 sound system, enhanced by a Virtual Reality headset experience. The installation aims to transport viewers into a world where art and technology converge seamlessly. The piece pays tribute to Balbi's visionary qualities. It does this by blending traditional parts of electronic audiovisual composition with a dive into artificial intelligence.

Aka 赤 (2024)
Aka 赤 is made from 31 meters of hand-painted 16mm film combined with contact microphone recordings of a shinkansen/bullet train in Japan. Through sensory and spatial immersion this film attempts to break away from a linear flow of time into zones of memory, passage, and complex temporality. "Aka" is Japanese for "red."

CREA K//LAB (ITALY)
The CREA K//LAB is the intermedial processes laboratory coordinated by Valerio Murat, Prof. of Multimedia at the Department of Electronic Music of the Frosinone Conservatoire. It is a space for experimentation and collaboration among artists and researchers, to explore the intersections between music, technology, and visual arts. Collaboration is a tool for growth and development, not only among individuals but also among groups of artists. The mission of CREA K//LAB is to integrate traditional elements with the potential of new technologies, helping to establish new standards in the enjoyment of visual art in an immersive digital environment.
